In the last few weeks I've been following a winter, base training plan. It's an easy routine of similar loops and out-and-back routes with the goal of building an aerobic base and preparing for the season ahead. There isn't too much variation or exciting new locations in this schedule, but there have been a few chances to experience some wonderful sunrises and sunsets over the views from around home.

Friday: an afternoon run and early sunset. |
